Pippa, 35, and her husband added the name Michael as a middle name for their baby boy as a nod to Pippa's dad Michael and James' brother Michael, who died in 1999 at the age of 22 while climbing Mount Everest. Michael Matthews later established the Michael Matthews Foundation in his honor to raise funds for poverty-stricken regions in Africa and Asia. However, this has not been deliberately stated.

On Sunday though, the Daily Mail reported that the baby's name is Arthur Michael William.

Anglophiles would know that Arthur is the middle name of three renowned royals: Prince Charles, the little one's first cousin, Prince Louis, and his uncle, Prince William.

Middleton welcomed her first child at the same Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital where her sister and Prince William's children were born. Middleton gave birth to Arthur in October just hours before Meghan Markle's pregnancy was announced by Kensington Palace. Arthur and Spencer are technically batchmates with Prince Louis, who was born on April 23.

Pippa and James tied the knot in May past year at St. Mark's Church in Englefield with niece and nephew George and Charlotte among the bridal party. According to People, a source close to the couple said that the two are looking forward to "having children and leading a quiet life". "She's a walking baby encyclopedia at this point", a royal insider told US Weekly.

It's another very dapper and traditional baby name for the Middleton family.

At the time, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge congratulated their sister on her arrival.
