Kanye West started his rant late Thursday afternoon saying that he been trying to get Drake to have a sit down with him and now the Toronto rapper is sneak dissing him on Travis Scott's record. The song was initially released in 2009. West demanded an apology from Drake for rapping, "I told her don't wear no 350's 'round me", referring to West's Yeezy Boost sneakers.
What's fuelling the tension?
The "Sickomode" lyric that Kanye is likely referencing is one where Drake raps "lost my respect, you not a threat".
The TV reality queen added: "My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know". One said: "Got his wife in beef, this is embarrassing."Drake has not replied to the Wests' tweets as of yet".
Another result of the fallout was Pusha T revealed Drake had fathered an illegitimate child with an adult-film star. He also accused Drake of threatening his family and bullying people with mental health issues. Clearly annoyed by the text, West unleashed a lengthy blast on Twitter.
The specifics of the threat are now unclear, but it prompted West to go on an explosive Twitter rant that contained more than 125 tweets. I'm Ye bro. Remember that I love you. "So cut the tough talk", he wrote. "This ain't about who could pay to have something done to somebody This man to man bro This been bothering me too long". And the last bar appears to reference Kanye's partnership with Adidas and Drake's partnership with Nike. However, he did post a series of emojis on Instagram stories.
Drake did not provide an immediate response to either of West's rants.
