Samsung Galaxy S10 with 5G variant could come in the first half of 2019 in partnership with Verizon

Unlike some previous reports about the Galaxy S10 lineup, the new set of renders suggest Samsung won't be positioning the front-facing camera setup of the upcoming handsets centrally.

We're still at least a few months away from the Galaxy S10 announcement.

With the addition of the hole in the display, it looks like Samsung has managed to give the Galaxy S10 Plus a almost bezel-less look without including a notch.

Instead it has been rumoured the Galaxy S10 will come with a flat OLED display.

The new leak also shows a dedicated Bixby button sitting on the left edge of the device, immediately below a volume rocker.

The 5G push for 2019 will be led by Android devices makers. It's now being rumored that Samsung will be using an ultrasonic scanner instead of optical.

However, the outlet has stated the Galaxy S10+ could arrive with two-front facing cameras, meaning the cutout size on the display could be larger overall.

As promised Samsung had rolled out to the Galaxy Note 9 users first, however, it is now being rolled out in "beta" to the Note 9 users.

"5G will usher in a new era of mobile connectivity, allowing people to connect to data, experiences and other people in ways never thought possible", said Brian Higgins, vice president, wireless device and product marketing at Verizon.

Samsung and Verizon announced on Monday that the two companies are partnering to bring one of the first 5G smartphones to the market. There's no information on the pricing and availability details for the Huawei Nova 4 just yet, so stay tuned for more updates. The Galaxy S10 family is expected to be unveiled at the next iteration of Mobile World Congress which is kicking off in Barcelona, Spain, in late February. The Galaxy S10 lineup might be the last flagships from Samsung to feature the headphone jack.
