THE nephew of Hollywood star Liam Neeson has died five years after he suffered catastrophic head injuries in Brighton.
In 2014, Sexton hit his head after falling 20 feet from a telephone booth. He was 31 years old at the time and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
At the time, his family shared a statement, thanking the public for their "love, support, prayers and good wishes".
Sexton was the youngest of Liam Neeson's sister's six children.
Sadly, another tragic fall took the life of Neeson's wife of 15 years, Natasha Richardson, almost 10 years ago.
Almost ten years after actor Liam Neeson lost his beloved wife Natasha Richardson, death once again came knocking on his family's door. Her death was ruled an accident after an autopsy was performed.
"I spoke to her and she said, 'Oh darling". She later died of blunt trauma to the head, a spokesperson for the New York City medical examiner's office told People.
Neeson and other family members were by her side when she died, reported ABC. His family was reportedly present at the time of his death. "We had just this wonderful kind of dance, free dance on stage every night, you know?"
The circumstances that led up to Sexton's death is a bad reminder of the accident that killed Neeson's wife.
