Rajinikanth starrer 'Petta' leaked online

After Rajinikanth's Petta, the pirated version of Thala Ajith's Viswasam has been leaked online.

The film witnessed a clash with Ajith starrer Viswasam and so the screens in many south states were divided between the two films. The team Tamilrockers frequently change their domain and release a new movie on their sites. Written and directed by Siva Viswasam is the fourth collaboration of Ajith and Siva.

No stringent action has been taken yet even after stringent laws against piracy.

The movie which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles was released today worldwide in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages but soon reports in Indian media suggested that the movie has been leaked online on a website called tamilrockers. Meanwhile, Ajith's film is expected to set film records at the box office.

Starred in over 50 films, primarily in Tamil cinema, he started his acting career with a cameo in the 1990 Tamil film En Veedu En Kanavar.

In Chennai, the fans began their celebrations on late Wednesday evening and continued through the night.

Both the films have received positive reviews from the cinegoers and will enter the Rs 100 crore club in their opening weekend at the global market. Going by the reports that have been doing the rounds, the Rajinikanth starrer has fetched above 1 Crore on day 1 whereas Viswasam has managed to fetch close to 90 Lakhs. They had gone to a 1.30 am special screening of the film.
