Cops in Lexington KY mocked themselves after a Krispy Kreme doughnut truck caugh on fire

Lexington police were able to make light of the situation after everything was resolved, as they took to social media to show their displeasure over the loss of the truck.

Officers from the Lexington Police Department in Kentucky were full of emotion and sans doughnuts after a box truck fire.

While the fire was soon extinguished, nobody seemed to be more heartbroken than Lexington's boys in blue.

They simply wrote, "No words", over the loss of the officers' stereotypical favorite treat.

"We feel your loss", the University of Kentucky Police Department wrote.

With that, the officers made a decision to express their sadness in a joking tweet, sharing photos of themselves looking disappointed in front of the burned truck.

The New York City Police Department tweeted: "Hang tight, we are sending backup forthwith". Tuesday night, Madison Police wrote on Twitter, "We mourn with you". "Your brothers and sisters in MA are here for you during these tough times".
