Aaron Ramsey

Fans can't believe how much Aaron Ramsey will be paid

It was confirmed on Monday night that Aaron Ramsey had signed a pre-contract with Juventus, bringing his 11 year spell at Arsenal to an end.

The Arsenal midfielder is a free agent when his contract expires in June, and was linked with several leading European clubs including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.

The report further revealed that Ramsey will now join Juventus at the close of the 2018-19 campaign on a four-year deal.

"Juventus Football Club announces that Aaron Ramey will officially be a Juventus player from 1 July 2019", a statement from the club read.

Over the past decade he has played 256 Premier League games, scoring 38 top-flight goals, and winning three FA Cup and two Community Shield.

"I wanted to issue a personal statement for all the Arsenal fans wh have been extremely loyal and supportive".

However, the former Cardiff City midfielder has made a decision to join hands with Juventus, signing a four-year deal worth a whopping £400,000 a week, as per the report from BBC Sport, which makes him the highest-earning British player ever.

"I will continue to give the team 100% and hope to finish the season strongly, before heading onto my next chapter in Turin".

Juve, however, had always been the favourites for Ramsey's signature despite a host of other top European clubs, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, being linked.
