The Duchess of Cambridge found herself apologising to the star-studded audience after the BAFTA awards ceremony on Sunday evening - the ever-humble Kate said a sweet sorry to guests as she left her seat, apologising for keeping everyone waiting as she was escorted away.
Her date for the night was of course, Prince William, who cut a stylish figure in a black tuxedo and slick loafers.
Kate Middleton wears Princess Diana's earrings. The dress featured a floral motif on the shoulder and ruffled detailing. Meanwhile Kate wore a gorgeous white flowy gown made by Alexander McQueen. While they were there, William also presented the Fellowship award to editor Thelma Schoonmaker as well. The two made a special appearance at the BAFTA Awards, since the Duke is the BAFTA President.
The Duchess carefully chose the same South Sea Pearl accessories that Diana wore to a concert at Royal Albert Hall in 1991 herself. Spectacular jewelry, particularly diamond bracelet of Queen Elizabeth II and a pair of earrings from the personal box of Princess Diana, added royalty to the image of the Duchess of Cambridge.
