According to Billboard, Big Hit has confirmed earlier reports that the group will present an award at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. The K-pop sensations are also nominated for Best Recording Package for Love Yourself: Tear.
BTS' achievement marks the first time a K-pop group has ever been a Grammy nominee, and fulfills a wish member Suga has had since the septet made their debut in the United States.
It was confirmed that the band - V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga - will attend the show this weekend, and may even be presenters.
While it's not yet clear which award they will present, the band is also nominated for their own prize.
Last year, BTS became the first Korean pop group to top the Billboard album charts in the U.S., and sold out a concert at New York City's Citi Field. They are up against St. Vincent's Masseduction, Mitski's Be the Cowboy, The Chairman's The Offering, and Foxhole's Well Kept Thing. The art director of "Love Yourself: Tear" is HuskyFox.
