Meghan Markle: 'Dad broke my heart into million pieces'

Meghan Markle's father, Thomas, is sharing a letter he claims he received from his daughter last August.

"Daddy, It is with a heavy heart that I write this, not understanding why you have chose to take this path, turning a blind eye to the pain you're causing", the letter began. "Please stop lying, please stop creating so much pain, please stop exploiting my relationship with my husband", the duchess wrote. In the lead-up to the nuptials, it had been reported that Thomas Markle would walk his daughter down the aisle, but just a few days before the wedding, doubt was cast as to his fitness to do this after it was reported he wasn't well and wouldn't be able to travel from his home in Mexico to Windsor in England, where the wedding was held.

Mr Markle revealed the letter to the Daily Mail on Sunday. Her father and siblings have also used the media to gain money and attention even though they aren't close to Markle. But this time he's shot himself in the foot by releasing a letter that Duchess Meghan sent to doing this he has given her a way to have her say publicly, although I doubt that was his intention.

Kensington Palace is considering taking legal action over a leaked letter from the Duchess of Sussex to her father, as her estranged family threaten to make public further details of their relationship breakdown. "Did you hear anything I said?' It's nearly like they're ships passing".

She begged her father, who lives in Mexico, to stop giving interviews and communicating with the press, and to leave her and Harry "in peace".

In the interview, Meghan's friends said that her father never called or texted her - something he denies. "You watched me silently suffer at the hand of her vicious lies, I crumbled inside".

"You can hate me if you want".

"Quite frankly I had faith in her on and off to do the right thing by her dad but I'm sick of the bulls**t".

"I pleaded with you to stop reading the tabloids".

"I would challenge her to take a lie detector test anywhere on the planet with investigators that are not paid by her to skew the results". I'm human and I'm sorry! How much longer must I say it?? "Fake it for one photo". He told Mail on Sunday that he choose to leak the letter because of what he viewed as his daughter's friends attack against him.
