Rich the Kid’s Entourage Attacked Outside Studio Where Usher Was Recording

On Tuesday afternoon Rich the Kid and his entourage were the victims of an armed robbery at Westlake Recording Studio, TMZ reports.

Usher was also at the studio during the time of the shooting, but he was not hurt.

The attack was a robbery targeting Rich the Kid, who was outside the studio at the time, according to reports.

Reportedly, multiple entourage members were attacked, and at least one bodyguard was badly pistol whipped.

Authorities say when deputies arrived, they found three black male victims who told investigators three black men confronted them in a nearby alley and demanded their money and jewelry before being assaulted. The shooter was running away from the studio as he fired shots behind him. Rich The Kid was reportedly outside during the shooting.

The West Hollywood Sheriff's Department is now investigating the area for the suspects, who were seen fleeing the scene with stolen cash and jewelry.

The robbery subject fired multiple shots as he escaped the scene.

Four hours ago Rich the Kid posted a picture to his instagram page holding wads of cash with the caption "for motivational purposes only".

Police are investigating the attack and haven't made any arrests, nor identified the suspects.

Other famous musicians such as Quincy Jones, Billy Idol, Missy Elliot, Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Marilyn Manson have also recorded music at the location.
