Others may have anxious for her safety during her volatile interview with R. Kelly, but Gayle King wasn't concerned.

On Thursday, while talking about King's polished and professional interview with R. Kelly, - something Fox knows nothing about - Watters said, "Hats off to Gayle King, for totally redeeming herself after the [Jussie] Smollett fiasco". Gayle King remained calm during the entire ordeal.

Clary's father also called King to "apologize" for how his daughter acted during their interview. "I can't understand, how somebody say they love you, and in the same breath spit in your motherfucking face".

During her appearance on Colbert, King said she did not watch the show but that friends told her about Watters' mistake.

Fox News is the epitome of trash news and they never fail to remind us of their foolishness. "'Can you let the rest of your colleagues know that all black people don't look alike?'"

"I'm sorry that's just the way I feel", he said.

Perino replied to her email by saying it was "nice to meet her", she revealed.

"I could see him getting more heated, he was upset with me about some of the questions. Period", Timothy Savage said. I just though, "OK dude, all right".

However, the dad insisted that Kelly's claims that they brought Joycelyn to his concert to introduce and pretty much sell her to him, are not true! He is now facing disorderly conduct charges for filing a false police report.

King talked to longtime bff Oprah Winfrey's magazine about the experience and said she was not afraid. Gardner first met the singer in 2009 when she was 17, her mother said, and moved in with him when she was 21.

But King said that periodically throughout the interview, Kelly would cough loudly.

"When I see Robert getting really upset and he stands out of his seat, my initial reaction is, oh god please don't leave, please don't leave, please don't leave", says King. "He's out of my eyesight and he's out of the girls' eyesight, too ― they did not see him", she said.

"The beatings, extension cords, anything you could think of". King had previously revealed that Kelly was present in the room during the taping and coughed during hard questions, and she told Colbert her thoughts on the "heartbreaking" situation.

Kelly also reportedly attempted to stop her interview with his girlfriends, asking members of her crew if he should interrupt, but he ultimately never did.
