Three-time Pro Bowler Odell Beckham Jr. is heading to Cleveland

With the Antonio Brown saga finally winding down after the Oakland Raiders struck a deal for the wideout, attention now shifts to Odell Beckham Jr. moving forward.

A Friday deal between the Giants and Browns was thought to potentially have Beckham included - and the Brown reportedly did inquire about Beckham but were rebuffed - but it ultimately it was just a swap of guard Kevin Zietler and edge rusher Olivier Vernon between the two teams.

In the mean time, Cleveland can celebrate their score, and wide receiver Jarvis Landry can celebrate the reunion with his closest friend.

However, the San Francisco 49ers missed out on Brown and have been tied to Beckham in trade rumors going back to last offseason and they have the cap space to take on his contract.

Odell Beckham #13 of the New York Giants warms up prior to the game against the Chicago Bears at MetLife Stadium on December 02, 2018 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Former Giants Vice President of Player Evaluation Marc Ross explains why he doesn't believe general manager Dave Gettleman will select Eli Manning's successor with the No. 6 pick in the NFL Draft.

Now, even more stories are coming out.

Another earlier report said the Giants would not entertain offers for Beckham unless they were "overwhelmed" by an offer.

The Giants made Beckham, who played college football at LSU, the No. 12 overall selection in 2014.

"The betting odds agree, with Bovada giving the Cleveland (+285) the second best odds of being Beckham's team at the start of the 2019 season, trailing only the Giants (-190)", writes Axelrod.
