Having a pop-up selfie camera was an interesting choice for the company, assuming this design is the final one.
Overnight renders of the OnePlus 7 have appeared online demonstrating said camera thus resulting in what is virtually a full screen display. However, TrueTech exclusively brings you a hands-on photo of the OnePlus 7 and its pop-out camera, as seen below.
This is not the first leaked image we have seen which shows that the OnePlus 7 will have a pop-up selfie camera. Not that OnePlus 6T's software Nightscape isn't good enough, but the extra sensor will definitely add value to the mobile phone. To begin with, the camera module on the back now has an additional sensor, making it a total of three rear cameras. As far as the dimensions are concerned, the flagship will measure 162.6 x 76 x 8.8mm, with the thickest point (camera bump) standing at 9.7mm. The render shows a USB Type-C port at the bottom along with a loudspeaker grille. While the resolution of the screen is not known yet, given the brand's love for full HD+, it's safe to assume that the display on the OnePlus 7 will also have the same resolution. The top edge is home to the elevating camera mechanism cutout and a mic. The volume buttons are on the left edge and the power button sits at the right along with the alert slider.
Specs included to arrive in the OnePlus 7 are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and no wireless charging. We already know for sure that it will not support wireless charging.
On the back, the OnePlus 7 sports a triple camera setup which is arranged vertically. The OnePlus 7 is rumoured to house a 6GB RAM for the base variant, going up to 8GB of RAM.
