Fans face an even longer wait for fresh details and gameplay for Sniper Elite 5.
The remaster will have updated textures, more playable characters and new multiplayer options. As you might've expected, that's involving Sniper Elite.
As an added bonus for Nintendo Switch fans Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition will be coming to the console, with the entire videogame and all of its DLC in one package, plus Switch-exclusive local wireless multiplayer and motion controls. Today, the team announced multiple Sniper Elite projects, including a much demanded follow-up to Sniper Elite 4.
Third, a new standalone Sniper Elite game for VR devices is set to be revealed later this year, and it's in the works in cooperation with Just Add Water (Oddworld). The flawless perch upon which to scope out the environment, an unlucky Nazi who wanders into your crosshairs and a gentle squeeze of the trigger usually results in a series trademark of seeing various bits of bone and meat gruesomely shatter outwards in a slow motion display of violence.
As for the VR game, a full reveal will be revealed later this year, while more details on Sniper Elite 5 won't be coming until 2020, which likely means it's a next-gen game.
I know I promised you four projects, but I'll confess that the other two aren't quite as PC-centric as those I've just mentioned.
That brings me to my next point, the game's signature aspect is the x-ray shots. It will, of course, have all the enhanced graphical upgrades you'd expect from a modern game, as well as 4K resolution and HDR support.
We also got to take a look at another re-release from the series.
