Through the first 22 games this season, Wisconsin was among the best 3-point shooting teams in the country at 40.2 percent.

Pac-12 Tournament champion OR is the No. 12 seed in the South Region and will open the NCAA Tournament against #5 seed Wisconsin Friday at 1:30 p.m.in the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. (TBS).

Seth Davis from The Athletic does not have the Pac-12 reaching the second weekend but he does have OR and Arizona State winning their first games.

After missing the tournament for the first time in 19 years last year, Wisconsin returns to the big dance as a No. 5 seed in the South region.

The Badgers will be a No. 5 seed, facing 12th-seeded OR in the South Region in San Jose, California, on Friday.

According to a tweet from CBS Sports college basketball analyst Jon Rothstein, Michigan and OR have agreed to a home-and-home series that will begin next year on Thursday, Dec. 14 in Ann Arbor, with the return game taking place in Eugene in 2020. Now it's not insane to envision them making a run.

Here are what the eight CBS Sports experts are saying about the Pac-12's chances in the 2019 NCAA Tournament. What makes Altman's defense even more hard to face is his strategy to press and then drop into a zone before morphing into man - all on the same possession.

In my opinion, this is a terrible opening round matchup for Wisconsin. OR was a top-15 team to start the season but dropped out of the top-25 by December. The Beavers were visiting UCLA and were blanked on Friday, losing 8-0.

However, as mentioned, OR has reeled off eight straight victories since that loss and won a Pac-12 conference championship.

The Badgers are third in defensive efficiency according to kenpom.com. Their offense has gone through some cold spells but this team runs through senior Ethan Happ. Wooten is an excellent defender, ranking No. 10 in the nation in block percentage and No. 4 in the Pac-12 in defensive rating. On offense, four players averaged double-digits on the year, led by Brown Jr., who scored almost 15 per game, fifth in the Big 12.

Wisconsin has three strong perimeter shooters surrounding Happ on offense. The Ducks don't just excel at three-point defense though, ranking No. 26 overall in overall field goal percentage defense.

The bad news is there could be some quality defenses standing in Wisconsin's path in the first three rounds.

The Badgers also don't turn it over, which will help against the OR pressure.

Over the regular season's home stretch, Wisconsin's inconsistencies were dramatically exposed. If another occurs on Friday, the Badgers are toast.
