PS4 gamers can take advantage of another new PlayStation freebie from Sony.

It's most definitely one of the better themes released in the past year, and it went straight on my PS4's dashboard.

The game's one year anniversary since it released is fast approaching - this Saturday - and so developer Santa Monica Studio has been preparing celebrations for the upcoming milestone. Perhaps you'll wait for the avatar set, once it is available on April 17th, to download both at once?

"I'm very happy to indulge you with a small token of our appreciation".

First up, there's a PS4 dynamic theme that you can grab right now, which depicts Atreus and Kratos in the Lake of Nine. Thank you to our entire worldwide team; the Sony PlayStation family and you, the millions of God of War fans around the world who embraced that leap with us, on a journey we never expected.

My favorite part of the video by far is when they show how some people related to Kratos's struggle with parenthood on a personal level, as they started the series in high school and then played God of War as they faced their own trials with parenting and adulthood.

Thanking fans for the game's success, Sony Santa Monica said that the creation of the reimagined God of War was a big risk for the studio. Barlog shared the post on his personal Twitter page with the caption "That's not all." which spiked the interest in fans thinking that there was possibly a secret DLC for God of War in the works. God of War also beat out industry giant Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption 2 at this year's Game Awards, taking home 2019's Game of the Year award.
