Building off of his new persona Antonio Brown made a decision to go full heel yesterday afternoon, as perhaps inspired by the pandemonium of WrestleMania the electrifying wide-receiver took a shot at his former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster. The former third-round pick from Stanford took to Twitter to send a strong message to Brown.
The NFL has yet to announce when the Texans play the Raiders in 2019, but no doubt it may have gotten a little spicy. In his response, AB referenced Smith-Schuster's fumble against the New Orleans Saints in Week 16, which hindered Pittsburgh's chances of making the playoffs.
Smith-Schuster has not yet issued a response to AB's most recent troll job, but we wouldn't be surprised if he chooses not to engage with the new Raiders receiver.
Despite scoring 15 touchdowns in 2018, Brown's relationship with Roethlisberger deteriorated late in the season.
Retweeting Brown's criticism of Smith-Schuster, Reid declared that he respects Brown's skills, but can't wait to "smash" him.
Brown then produced an Instagram post shortly thereafter that showed him hugging Smith-Schuster. The competitive friction between Brown and Smith-Schuster likely was one of the reasons the All-Pro receiver forced his way out of Pittsburgh, wanting to be unquestioned No. 1 receiver somewhere else.
