Right-wing media empire Fox News referenced United States lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) 42 days in a row, according to research, for a total of 3,181 unique mentions, leading many to note an editorial "obsession" by the staunchly conservative news giant with the Democratic firebrand.
Crenshaw, who served in the war in Afghanistan and lost his right eye after an improvised explosive device detonated, criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) for referring to the 9/11 terrorist attacks as "some people did something".
In response, Ocasio-Cortez said: "Thank you Sen".
Stepping into the dustup, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: "In 2018, right-wing extremists were behind nearly ALL US domestic terrorist killings. Why don't you go do something about that?" she tweeted at Crenshaw. As an American and a New Yorker I couldn't be more offended by this bullshit, but of course Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and their band of liberal clowns will do nothing, and the media will try to make her some sort of hero to cover her hatred of this great country and it's people.
Ocasio-Cortez replied, "Thank you for standing up for all of us, Sen". Omar said that "some people did something" as she talked about the creation of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which was formed after the terrorist attacks.
"You refuse to cosponsor the 9/11 Victim's Compensation Fund, yet have the audacity to drum resentment towards Ilhan w/completely out-of-context quotes", posted Ocasio-Cortez. "She parachuted into a congressional district she doesn't even represent and led the parade of grandstanding politicians to tank the deal", Papazian told Fox News.
Yahoo News' Michael Isikoff asked Ocasio-Cortez if she would support Biden.
But in a letter Friday to the New York Democrat, Barr said she must first offer a mea culpa to "our colleague and patriot to our country".
It is not only that but as the present Democratic Party leader until an official candidate is chosen for the party, she is prodding her party members to sift through the presidential hopefuls, including Biden, in upcoming the debate process to commence in June.
Now festival organisers hope to sprinkle some political stardust in the form of a glamorous 29-year-old congresswoman from NY.
Ocasio-Cortez also said Omar has "done more for 9/11 families than the GOP" and that Republicans are "happy to weaponize [Omar's] faith". A former reporter for McClatchy's Miami Herald, she also spent several years covering the White House.
