OnePlus 7 appears in renders, but where’s the pop-up camera?

OnePlus 7 reportedly due to be unveiled May 14

OnePlus 7 Series Likely to Come Out in a Month with Three Versions

Oneplus' CEO Pete Lau took to Twitter yesterday to acknowledge that he was aware of how much fans yearn for more information about the "new device". While the OnePlus 7 is anticipated to succeed the company's now available OnePlus 6T, other rumours tip that the company will also launch the OnePlus 7 Pro alongside, with the OnePlus 7 5G variant also tipped. We might also get to see a pop-up selfie camera mechanism, which will eliminate the need for the notch on the display.

The leak we cited earlier suggests that the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will launch on May 15th.

The leak doesn't have anything to say about pricing, but the existence of this phone could be an admission that OnePlus' phones are getting more expensive. With this being said, the above information is still based on rumours and no concrete information regarding the launch has been shared by OnePlus.

The OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro are expected to sport flagship specifications like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC along with 8GB RAM. The standard version will go along the lines of the OnePlus 6T, claims the report.

And while this is undeniably cool tech, it comes with a few possible downsides: first of all, it seems that removing the traditional front camera will prevent OnePlus from offering face recognition on the OnePlus 7.

There's no pop-up camera here. In the case of OnePlus 7 Pro models, the RAM configuration could reach as high as 12GB, and the display will be curved on the sides to further enhance the viewing experience. The 5G variant's support the latest 5G band is naturally understood.

The winter OnePlus 7 is coming.

The company is likely to ditch the traditional remote control for the TV, instead use AI for most of the functions. He can learn from habits and provide what is needed when needed. No, we are not talking about special color variants or special editions of the phone.
