The new tagline for this year's OnePlus flagship is "Fast and Smooth".
The OnePlus 7 Pro might come in this color scheme. On the other hand, the 5G version will get a model number GM1920. It will also come powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset and sports triple camera setup on the rear. Contrarily, the heavily-leaked pop-up camera seems to be reserved for the Pro model.
These included a 6.67-inch display and a triple-camera system, the latter of which was said to be comprised of a 48-megapixel, 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. The upcoming OnePlus flagship is being teased as attractive and fast. The OnePlus 6T is now available from T-Mobile for $550 (or 24 monthly payments of $22.92) and includes features you might see on phones costing hundreds of dollars more, like an in-display fingerprint scanner, 8GB of memory, and an AMOLED display protected by the latest version of Gorilla Glass.
The 5G version is believed to be a 5G-capable version of the OnePlus 7 Pro. But nothing is confirmed until the company says so, which is why the upcoming information by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau trumps all the rumours and gains extra weight.
Rather, the standard OnePlus 7 will have a 6.2in Full-HD+ display with waterdrop notch, and pair its Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB of RAM and a lower-capacity battery.
Several renders of the OnePlus 7 series have been presented to the public already. The edge display on the OnePlus 7 Pro is quite similar to the one on Samsung's edge display; however, this one has extremely thin bezels which gives the phone a premium look.
The devices will run on Android 9 Pie based OxygenOS out of the box.
The faster refresh rate would offer much smoother animations and transitions across the operating system, as well as gameplay in mobile games. It will house a 4000mAh battery with 30W Warp charge. More features of OnePlus 7 pro include USB 3.1, stereo speakers and better vibration motor. There were also reports saying that the device will not be offered with wireless charging.
