Set to be the culmination of the entire Skywalker saga, the movie is attempting to put a neat little bow on over four decades worth of movies, from the original Star Wars film back in 1977, to The Last Jedi in 2017. We can only imagine they'll be brutal forces in the game. As expected, after problems with the engine during development Anthem from BioWare, for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, it was made a decision to use a friendlier Unreal Engine 4.

Seen as a potential frontrunner coming into the current console generation, Star Wars 1313 - a gritty cinematic action game - was sadly canned following Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm.
