This year, Apple is expected to introduce a successor to last year's iPhone XR model. Many of those rumors have focused heavily on the cameras these phones will have, with the iPhone XS and XS Max successors rumored to have three and the iPhone XR follow-up with two.
Leaked details of the new colors surfaced last week revealing that Apple will opt for Green and Lavender instead of coral and blue. Fans of these new colors will love the new 6.1-inch 2019 iPhone when it's released soon.
Aside from getting new colors, this year's iPhone XR is believed to get upgraded specs, particularly an upgraded camera.
Mac Otakara created a short video to simulate how the new iPhone XR would look like in these colors. The cases will reportedly be available in White, Black, (PRODUCT) RED, Lilac, Spearmint, and Mellow Yellow (all of which are now available for the iPhone XS and XS Max). Gurman had tweeted images of a few pieces of broken glass which are supposedly material for the iPhone XR (2019) back panel.
Citing "trusted sources in China", leak site SonnyDickson.com has posted a pair of case renders that back up the rumored new design, complete with large, square camera cutouts and device dimensions for proposed "iPhone XI" and "iPhone XI Max" models.
In the case of the latter, the triple-camera setup, with an offset arrangement, has been suggested by so many reports that we're now starting to take things for granted, even though we're still months away from an official unveiling.
The iPhone XR is among the devices with most activations during the Christmas 2018 holiday.
Apple is expected to unveil the 2019 iPhone XR-probably with a different name than that-this fall.
