Apple sends out invites for WWDC 2019, to begin on June 3

The WWDC 2019 presentation will take place at 10 a.m. PT on Monday, June 3 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. However, that's not to say there isn't something for the rest of us. Apple might also preview its latest Mac Pro hardware and Apple Pro display.

Apple has issued an unexpected iOS update.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro now features faster 6- and 8-core Intel Core processors, while the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar features faster quad-core processors. It seems members of the press received various graphics depicting neon emoji and animoji images set against midnight blue backgrounds-perhaps to evoke iOS 13's rumored Dark Mode. It'll be joined by new controls for notifications, too, together with updates to Apple's core apps like Mail and Maps.

Here's what's new on iOS 12.3 and iOS 12 for the iPhone and iPad. Since the company is pushing attention toward its services, particularly the new ones it announced in March, Apple is likely to keep the focus squarely on software.

Will we see it on June 3?

Furthermore, Apple's next generation watchOS 6 is expected to offer a dedicated App Store for the Apple Watch, new watch faces, new health-related apps and more, Macrumors reports.

The invite artwork is pretty interesting and follows the theme of this year's WWDC - Write code. SlashGear will be at WWDC 2019 too, to bring back all the news.
