HBO drops trailer for Game of Thrones documentary

As you may have heard, "Game of Thrones" is coming to an end this Sunday.

"This is unusual. Here we are, at the last table read, and it's like looking around and seeing your family", he says, voice filled to the brim with emotion.

Note: The trailer shows on-set footage from scenes which are yet to air, although they do not appear to show any spoilers.

HBO has released a trailer for Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, the two-hour documentary that will give audiences an in-depth behind-the-scenes peek of the making of the HBO epic fantasy series' eighth and final season.

Titled Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, the documentary will chronicle the making of the final season. Luckily, HBO will tease us a bit more with some images from the upcoming episode midweek, which will be just as vague as the new trailer, though oddly satisfying at the same time. The documentary is from British filmmaker Jeanie Finlay (Seahorse, Orion: The Man Who Would Be King).

Meantime, the Game of Thrones' spin-off with the working title Bloodmoon has reportedly started filming in Belfast. And looks like the makers expected fans' drastic reactions to the show wrap-up. Game of Thrones: The Last Watch will air on Sunday, May 26 on HBO. The new trailer opens with a D.B. Weiss voiceover as we see shots of the actors (including Kit Harington) getting very emotional over the scripts: "This is unusual", Weiss muses.
