EA Access is expanding to PlayStation 4 this summer.

The Netflix-like program, which allows members access to an ever-expanding catalog of EA-published games for a monthly or annual subscription, has been available on Xbox One since 2014.

EA Access is slated to arrive on PlayStation 4 in July, but no specific date was announced.

For those unfamiliar, a subscription to EA Access provides members with a growing library of EA-published and developed games, including old hits and new releases.

First, subscribers get a 10-percent discount on all EA purchases.

"As we continue to invest in digital and subscription services, bringing great games to even more players across more platforms is an exciting opportunity for everyone", said Matt Bilbey, Executive VP of Strategic Growth.

Members also get early previews to upcoming games. The Vault does have some more recent titles too including Madden 19, Unravel 2, and The Sims 4.

The details of the games to be included as part of the service have yet to be revealed, but where Xbox One offers backward compatibility to Xbox 360 and Xbox games, that won't be possible on PlayStation 4.

Classic games like Battlefield Bad Company, Black, Dead Space and Skate 3 are also available on Xbox One.

Translated from Portuguese, the app reads "EA Access now available". "We don't think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month [the price for United States users] for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer".
