On May 19, 2019, nearly two weeks after the birth of their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked their first wedding anniversary by gifting the world with a series of never-before-seen photos from their wedding album.
The pictures include a number of black and white images taken by photographer Chris Allerton, including one in which Meghan is holding hands with her mother Doria Ragland.
Her sons Prince Edward and Prince Andrew were also in attendance, as were Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Princess Beatrice, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and Princess Alexandra.
Many were convinced it was a tribute to Meghan and Harry as they recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
Another wrote: "The Queen wore the same outfit from Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's Wedding to the Garden".
The television personality added the pair kept in touch and was stunned when news broke of her relationship with Prince Harry.
It was a year of firsts for newbie royal Meghan, and the party marked the newlyweds' first official engagement as a married couple.
The birth of the couple's baby earlier this month was also announced on Instagram. "Each of you made this day even more meaningful", the couple said in a joint message on their anniversary.
"He's just been a dream", Meghan, 37, had said in her first public comments since giving birth to the seven-pound, three-ounce (3.26-kilogram) baby, who stayed firmly asleep during his public unveiling.
To celebrate their wedding anniversary, the couple shared stunning new photos with their fans.
Another attractive photo was Meghan holding her mom Doria Ragland's hand during the wedding.
Happy anniversary, Prince Harry & Meghan Markle!
Since then the pair have already started their own family, with Meghan giving birth to their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor nearly two weeks ago.
