Rick and Morty season four confirmed to debut this November

The hit Adult Swim series is set to return for its fourth season in November 2019, it was announced Wednesday at the WarnerMedia upfront presentation.

When asked about a possible collaboration with West, Roiland and Harmon quickly added that the rapper is "always welcome" and has an "open invitation" to come on the show and do a voice whenever he wants.

We can't wait for new episodes of Rick and Morty this fall. Season 3 then resumed in July of that year.

For the better part of two years, Rick and Morty devotees have been awaiting the return of their favorite duo. What do you hope to see this time around with Rick and Morty? To date, the show has only aired 31 episodes.

The show had been previously renewed for 70 episodes, spread out over an undetermined amount of seasons, although a typical Rick and Morty season is 10 episodes. But Harmon went on to say that knowing that he and Roiland have Adult Swim's full confidence will allow them to breathe much easier, and not indulge their perfectionism to the point where it becomes overthinking. "We got all that, and we're both very excited". We have 70, he can have one.

Virtually nothing is known about what's in store for season 4; a teaser trailer was released back in January, but, well, check it out below and see if you can make heads or tails of it, because we certainly can't.

Previous seasons of Rick and Morty have premiered in the summer, but protracted negotiations over the show's renewal postponed production.
