Now Dave Hill, one of the show's writers, has revealed the identity of that character, and the performer who embodied that character has responded.

We couldn't have said it better ourselves, Ser Jorah.

The president recently ruled out the possibility of any sequels or spinoffs of the show, such as an Arya Stark spin-off. Plus, Maisie Williams has more than proven she could carry a show on her own.

Weiss and Benioff's show managed to stand on its own in eight seasons, thus Bloys wanted to leave it as "its own work of art" and not create shows directly from it - Arya for that matter. "Even up to the point when Cersei's with Jaime, I thought [while reading the script], 'He's going to whip off his face [and reveal it's Arya]' and they're both going to die".

HBO is hardly done with the world of Game of Thrones. But I would've loved some more scenes with me and Missandei. I think based on online reaction, which you do have to take with a grain of salt, it does seem split and I think that's about right - some people are going to love it, some people are going to hate it.

Before the Stark kids bid their goodbye to each other, Arya told Jon she had no plan to return to Winterfell.
