Former WCW wrestling star Silver King, whose real name was Cesar Barron, died of a reported heart attack Saturday evening during a wrestling match in London.

Barron was later pronounced dead at the scene from a heart attack. Footage posted online shows the referee and several other men coming to his aid after he collapsed. "A woman was giving him CPR while he still had a mask on, and then someone else did it".

We'll pass along updates when we get them. Medical response was slow and worrying.

"All of us were really shocked - it wasn't clear what was happening", Mr Carrera told the BBC. Black paid the wrestler a tribute on his Instagram page. "I had the impression they didn't know what to do".

A number of luchadores will perform in "The Greatest Spectacle of Lucha Libre", which takes place over two days and features Mexican and British stars from the world of Mexican Wrestling.

WWE ( World Wrestling Entertainment) said in a statement it was "saddened" to learn of his death.

Since 2008, he was a part of Lucha Libre Worldwide.

"Our thoughts and condolences are with his family, friends and all of the Lucha Libre team". He became famous for playing the villain Ramses in the film "Nacho Libre".

"I deeply regret the death of my great rival and partner in so many battles", he wrote.

Sin Cara (no face) said the wrestler world is in mourning once more. Such a terrible situation, my heart goes out to all involved as well as to his loved ones.

Guerrera pinned Silver King to end the match, but King was completely out. He & Tejano were an incredible team. Like so numerous great Luchadores that helped Americans appreciate Lucha Libre and make Nitro the success it was, he will be missed. "Thank you and RIP".
