One person has been killed and at least seven others are injured after a shooting at a graduation party in Philadelphia on Sunday night, according to authorities.
As 6ABC in Philly reports, it happened around 10 p.m.at Finnegan Playground near the intersection of South 70th Street and Buist Avenue in South Philadelphia.
Four adults, all believed to be in their 20s, suffered wounds and a man was later pronounced dead.
The 21-year-old man was shot in his elbow and was also stable.
Authorities say a 24-year-old man who was shot in the back died at a hospital. Police said the one fatality was an adult.
U.S. media reports a gunman sprayed bullets into the crowd of around 60 people who had gathered in celebration. "These are the things that absolutely drive us insane".
Around 60 people were at the party when shots rang out.
Police are searching for the suspect and an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
"We're putting out additional people", Ross said when questioned on the spate of violence.
