Official: Manchester United confirm Daniel James deal

FORMER Leeds United transfer target Daniel james is set to be unveiled as the first signing of the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era at Manchester United next week.

Daniel James needs to be himself and enjoy the challenge if he is to become a success at Manchester United, according to Wales manager Ryan Giggs. "Further details will be communicated once the global transfer window opens next week", a club statement read on Friday.

It is expected to have cost them around 18 million pounds.

"Perhaps Solskjaer would like to move Anthony Martial on having seen the drop in his performance after he got his new contract", he told The Transfer Window podcast.

The player has been prolific with Swansea City this season as he has amassed 5 goals and 10 assists in 38 games for Swansea across all competitions.

Another player that could leave United this summer is flop Alexis Sanchez, who has failed to perform at Old Trafford after lighting up the Premier League with Arsenal.
