The Warriors consider Klay Thompson as questionable for Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday after an MRI confirmed a strained left hamstring, sources said.

Earlier tonight, Stadium's Shams Charania reported that Thompson's MRI results revealed a hamstring strain. Cousins had his first good game of the postseason after missing all but two games in Game 2 of the Finals and will look to improve on that in Game 3. He provides excellent depth at the center position for the Warriors.

A second Warriors flight out of Toronto, carrying staff and family members, was scheduled to leave after Game 2 but had a mechanical issue that forced the plane to return to its gate. Same thing for Andrew Bogut, Jonas Jerebko and Jordan Bell because of Looney's injury.

Thompson didn't talk to the media in a formal setting Sunday night but told a couple of reporters walking out of the arena he expected to play.

Thompson, meanwhile, pulled up with a hamstring injury midway through the fourth quarter and missed the rest of the game.

Looney has played a nice role for the two-time defending NBA Champions, giving them an average of just over 20 minutes per game. Golden State is a 4.5-point favorite with the total at 213.5 in the latest Warriors vs. Raptors odds. He is anticipated to return at some point during the Finals. Looney will become an unrestricted free agent and has considered re-signing with the Warriors to be his first priority. "Thank God we got a couple of days off".
