Angelina Jolie Drops Maddox Off At University In South Korea

Angelina Jolie's eldest son Maddox has moved to South Korea to study at the prestigious Yonsei University, local media has reported.

The 18-year-old son of Angelina and Brad Pitt will be attending Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and she dropped him off for freshman year on Wednesday (August 21).

Pulling a sad face Angelina added, "I know, I'm trying not to cry".

In a video uploaded by Instagram user xx_efu, Jolie was asked about how long she was going to stay in South Korea.

Maddox's choice to attend a South Korean school comes after he was spotted visiting universities there with Jolie back in November 2018.

Speaking about Angelina's reaction on the campus, the onlooker shared, "Angelina Jolie was definitely proud of Maddox". "[Yonsei] seems like a great school", Angelina told the students who interacted with her.

When he was accepted into the school, Jolie told People: "I'm nothing but proud".

The report also said that Jolie-Pitt was a "big K-pop fan", and has learned the Korean language as part of his preparations to live there.

Angelina Jolie's latest outing is emotional and heartwarming. "She will miss seeing him as much, but he's ready".

Maddox's siblings Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne weren't with him to say their goodbyes.

"I leave today", she replied, to a loud chorus of "awws" from the crowd.

A source previously said that Maddox never felt like he's Pitt's son because they never had a close relationship with each other.
