Bella Hadid and her singer-songwriter beau are no more.
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd have reportedly ended their relationship after the couple found it hard to make time for each other while remaining focused on their working commitments.
A source close to the two told E! that being in a long-distance relationship had something to do with the breakup.
The source said "Bella and Abel have split", with their jobs and the distance away from each other playing a big part in their decision.
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd haven't been seen out in public in several months.
The Weeknd and Bella first started dating all the way back in 2015.
The source explained to E! that the couple were in "different places right now, physically and mentally".
Bella and Abel have split and reunited several times over the years so we're feeling pretty confident they'll manage to patch things up in the coming months. They would often end up in different cities at "opposite times", leading to poor communication. They split in December of that year and later reconnected in what would be a pattern throughout the years.
The weird time zones and travelling constantly from the west coast to the east coast led to constant arguments between Bella and Abel.
While the time apart has resulted in Hadid and The Weeknd "arguing a lot recently", the source shares that "they hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects".
