Eddie Murphy is making his Saturday Night Live comeback!

Eddie Murphy is hosting on December 21, the Christmas episode of the 45th season. This is an even bigger deal than Adam Sandler returning to host the show last season, and we have even more details on the roster of guests coming to Saturday Night Live below.

Waller-Bridge will also make her first appearance on the show this season when she hosts in early October.

Live from your timeline, we've got some news.

Kristen Stewart will return for a second time as host on 2 November, alongside an unconfirmed musical guest. "I will always love this show". No musical guest has been announced just yet, unless of course Stewart has decided to make this the debut of her singing career.

On Oct. 12, Stranger Things star David Harbour will host for the first time, with the night's musical guest being pop star Camila Cabello. But Murphy would return in December of 1984, following his starring turn in Beverly Hills Cop.

Spade recounted the verbal lashing he received from Murphy in his 2015 memoir, "Almost Interesting", describing the incident as "so much worse than I had imagined".

Saturday Night Live will surely add more hosts, musical acts, and dates to their Season 45 schedule, so be sure to stick with CinemaBlend for updates as they're released. In addition to the SNL episode, he'll also star in the Netflix film My Name Is Dolemite as Rudy Ray Moore.
