Storm chances return: Northeast Ohio Thursday weather forecast

Todays Forecast Scattered showers, storms possible throughout the day Friday Brian Niznansky 5:48 AM, Aug

We'll be mostly clear, warm and muggy tonight. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny. The good news is that most of your Sunday looks to be dry, but will begin to showers and storms. Highs reach into the low and mid 90s, and it will feel tropical with dew points in the low 70s. No changes are expected Sunday with just a few more showers or storms possible. Chances for showers and storms will continue into next week.

Check back to Daily Voice for updates. Strong to severe storms may fire up this afternoon and evening. Highs in the low 90s. There are more clouds than sunshine for Saturday, especially through the first half of the day, but that won't stop temperatures from turning toasty.

Monday it hot and humid.

It starts today, which will be sunny and hot with a high of 93 and a heat index value of around 100. Highs in the upper 80s. Given the fact that morning storms have moved through Chicago, northern Illinois' chance of severe weather seems lower. We'll have scattered storm chances (off and on) Tuesday night through Friday. This is a potent cold front, so it starts to drop temperatures Thursday.
