Illness forced Nelson to cancel tours in 2016 and 2018.

The 86-year-old country crooner took to his social media accounts on Wednesday to announce that he was canceling his upcoming tour dates due to a health issue.

Fans will just have to wait until September to hear more of Nelson's latest album, "Ride Me Back Home", which dropped this past June.

We know you will.

Editor's note: This story originally indicated that Nelson would cancel his Ruoff show in central Indiana.

It's not Nelson's first health scare in recent years.

Willie Nelson has canceled his August tour dates because of a health issue, but he'll still be coming to IN this September.

It was unclear whether the entire tour, which is set to run through November 29, would be cancelled as a result of Thursday's announcement.

The tour that started on 1 August had Nelson completing his performance in Toledo, Ohio with Alison Krauss, and he was scheduled to play on Friday in Grand Rapids, Michigan. "The altitude got to me".

"Update: Willie is resting and feeling better", a post on his Facebook page reads.
