Lawrence and Smith hop right back into their roles as Detective Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Detective Marcus Burnett (Lawrence), but this time things are different.
Bad Boys for Life hits theaters January 17, 2020. The first trailer for the long-awaited third installment of their action-packed buddy cop franchise Bad Boys for Life has dropped bringing the same level of energy, laughs, and action from before. Read on, bad boys.
Set to the remixed sounds of the "Bad Boys" song by Inner Circle and Diddy's "Bad Boy for Life", the teaser shows them in top form. Those who've been paying close attention to the film's ever-shifting production status know that the fact that Bad Boys for Life exists at all is a minor miracle in its own right. At one point Joe Carnahan was attached, a director with similar Bay-esque machismo but smarter. Either way, that's good news, as Carnahan's writing style always seemed a flawless fit for the world of Bad Boys.
Unfortunately, Smith and Lawrence's Bad Boys are nowhere to be found on Hulu, either. From the looks of the trailer, both Smith and Lawrence are back in their charming, comedic element for what's been deemed as the threequel. Lowrey, on the other hand, is still creating a ton of collateral damage and giving Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano) an ulcer. Bad Boys II is also available on Amazon, but it's slightly more expensive: you'll have to pay $3.99 to rent or $9.99 to purchase it.
