Now, the two accomplished writers will see one of their co-written endeavors come to life in the Netflix adaptation of In the Tall Grass. Gerald's Game premiered September 29 and 1922 on October 20, 2017.
The adaptation is directed by Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Splice) and stars Patrick Wilson (Watchmen, The Conjuring), Laysla De Oliveira (The Gifted, iZombie), Rachel Wilson (The Glass House, Saw 3D: The Final Chapter), Avery Whitted (The Vanishing of Sidney Hall), Harrison Gilbertson (Need for Speed, Upgrade), and Will Buie Jr.
Other highlights to keep an eye out for on Netflix in the weeks running up to Halloween include the first season of Daybreak, a post-apocalyptic high school drama starring Matthew Broderick that's being billed as "part samurai saga, part endearing coming-of-age story, and part Battle Royale". A trailer is now available and a release date has been confirmed for the Stephen King thriller shot south of Stratford past year.
The film will begin streaming on October 4.
