Dulos and his girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, pleaded not guilty to charges of hindering prosecution and obstruction of justice in the disappearance of his wife, Jennifer Farber Dulos, who went missing on May 24 after dropping her children off at school.
Dulos is only charged with evidence tampering, but the warrant suggests more charges are coming.
Police said Fotis Dulos apparently had been "lying in wait" at his wife's home, according to the 43-page warrant application for Dulos obtained by Fox News on Wednesday. That's where police say a physical assault occurred in the garage.
The night Farber Dulos went missing, a man resembling Dulos was seen on surveillance cameras dumping garbage bags along Albany Avenue in Hartford, arrest records show.
Fotis Dulos later had the employee's truck washed and detailed without telling the employee, and pressured the employee to change the seats in the truck, according to the warrant. Security cameras show it parked near where police found Jennifer Dulos' auto abandoned outside Waveny Park.
A CT man was arrested Wednesday on a new charge in the disappearance of his estranged wife. Authorities did not immediately disclose the charges.
"Our hearts go out to Ms. Troconis", said Fotis Dulos' attorney Norm Pattis, according to FOX61.
Troconis turned herself in Thursday afternoon and is also facing an additional tampering charge, reports WFSB. "And I believe the prosecution is reluctant to charge Mr. Dulos with murder until they've assembled all of the evidence they can, including the body, before they file the formal charge. because the absence of a body could create a reasonable doubt in an ordinary prosecution".
Fotis Dulos' attorney said prosecutors are trying to "convince" themselves that his client is responsible for Jennifer Dulos' disappearance.
The truck he is believed to have been driving on the day she vanished actually belonged to one of his employees, the warrant said. When and if the state decides it can prove its case, we will welcome the chance to meet the case in open court.
Troconis was processed at the state barracks in Bridgeport, posted bond and has been released from police custody, authorities confirmed. "When do we get the chance to question these folks?"
Troconis' attorney Andrew Bowman told WFSB: "Remember that Michelle is presumed innocent and she should be".
"It's an exhausting fight", Fotis Dulos told reporters on Wednesday evening.
Pattis said his client would plead not guilty to new charges against him when he's scheduled to appear in court on September 12. I love my children. "We will plead not guilty to these charges next week in Norwalk".
