Green Bay Packers: 3 Trade Targets on the Miami Dolphins

NFL Dallas Cowboys First Round Pick Minkah Fitzpatrick

Dolphins shopping Minkah Fitzpatrick: Should the Lions pounce?

Charlton found a new home Thursday with the Miami Dolphins, which coincidentally play the Cowboys Sunday. "So I think for us, to strike on those opportunities because we know as the team was built right now it wasn't going to win a Super Bowl, much less it'll be hard to compete for a playoff spot". The story says Cowboys coach Jason Garrett was asked about Charlton's tweet Monday night. "And you see how I really roll".

As I took a look at this Miami Dolphins team, these three players, in particular, stood out the most as trade targets that could step in and make an impact on this Green Bay Packers team in 2019 and possibly into the future. "I'm going to try to provide that spark", Rosen said Friday.

Jerry Jones is too quick to give out his first-round picks which resulted in Dallas club waiting till the 58th overall pick to sign the defensive tackle Trysten Hill. That apparently is not the plan of the front office but Fitzpatrick could certainly be that for the Broncos.

"I think coach Flores is doing his thing, same thing Gruden's doing", Quinn said Wednesday, per the Associated Press. Fitzpatrick is a first-round talent when he's used correctly as he was in his rookie season of 2018. Rosen came in later in the game and went 7-for-18 for 97 yards and one interception.

Cowboys sitting out of first round picks

The Cards' performance last season warranted the team having the first overall pick of this year's draft and the franchise replaced Rosen with Kyler Murray.

Last week saw quarterback Dak Prescott again play like one of the best signal callers in the NFL. The Cowboys complied, cutting the former first-rounder to activate Robert Quinn from the suspended list. The Dolphins are obviously just collecting draft picks at this point, and they want close to first-round value or first-round value for Fitzpatrick.

Miami is also expected to be the most porous run defense Dallas has faced. As part of the return, the Steelers also will get the Dolphins' 2020 fourth-round pick and a 2021 seventh-round pick. He is on the physically unable to perform list as he recovers from ACL surgery.

That said, Miami's uninspiring playing, including a 59-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and a 43-0 drubbing at the hands of the New England Patriots, doesn't bode well for his chances to succeed.
