Apple announced the price and a November 1 launch date at an event on Tuesday.

Like Netflix and similar services from Amazon and Hulu, Apple has been doling out billions of dollars for original programs featuring stars such as Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. The service is launching in more than 100 countries at once. Apple TV+ was first announced on March 25 earlier this year.
