Thankfully, the new partnership means that the creators hopefully wont leave us with big, gaping Rick and Morty-shaped holes in our lives for months (and years) at a time. The release date for the new season was announced in a new teaser trailer for the series.
It has been two years since Adult Swim has graced us with a new episode of "Rick and Morty"-the fourth season finale "The Rickchurian Mortydate" aired October 1, 2017-and boy has it felt that way". There are only five episodes in this new batch, which starts in November, according to a report from iO9. We don't care how long we have to wait! They would surely have to for the sake of season counts, as Adult Swim signed the creators for an additional 70 new episodes around the time of the third season. But the days of hardship are nearly over, and Adult Swim has given you a sampler plate of the glorious, interdimensional adventures soon to come with the first trailer for the fourth season of the acclaimed animated series from Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. Watch season 4 when it premieres on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim. Not only did Adult Swim release the show's official premiere date, but it also blessed fans with a full trailer.
Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, "Rick and Morty" follows the misadventures of gruff mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith (both voiced by Roiland) as they travel through dimensions.
With 3 days to go, get hyped by watching the new trailer below. However, fans may be less than pleased to hear that only five episodes are on the way. Though unconfirmed, this might suggest that the upcoming season is going to be split into two parts.
The new Rick and Morty season 4 trailer has a somewhat cheeky response to the bad news. "All the season we could handle".
